Services and Areas of Focus
Navigating emotional regulation
Identity development
Trauma
Neurodivergence
Growing up is complex. I provide a creative, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming space where children can manage emotions and express themselves freely, while giving caregivers the tools they need for deeper connection.
Children & Teens
Caregivers & Complex Family Systems
Foster and adoptive parents
Caregivers of neurodivergent or traumatized children
Complex family dynamics
Attachment disruptions
Supporting a child within a complex family system can be both meaningful and overwhelming. I work collaboratively with caregivers, including my fellow foster and adoptive parents, to strengthen attunement, communication, and emotional regulation, while making sense of behaviors through an attachment- and trauma-informed lens. Therapy offers caregivers a space to feel supported, understood, and more confident as they navigate family dynamics with compassion and connection.
Family Building & Reproductive Trauma/Loss
Infertility
Miscarriage
Infant loss
Reproductive assistance (before, during, and after)
Adult experience of foster or adoption journeys
As someone who can deeply resonate with struggles of family building, I offer a steady witness to the “unseen” experiences of infertility, pregnancy loss, infant loss, foster & adoption, and other types of loss misunderstood or unacknowledged by society. Together, we can honor the heartaches and pain the world doesn’t always know how to name.
Additional Support Areas:
Group Therapy
Growth Through Artistic Expression
Foster and Adoptive Parent
Community Through Voice/Song
Female-identifying Empowerment
Caregiver’s Support and Processing
From time to time, and depending on interest, I lead group therapy, which is a genuine passion of mine. I find therapy in a group setting can be as equally as, if not more than, effective as individual therapy, especially ones utilizing creative arts as a means of expression, increasing self-esteem, and building relationships. There is power in community. While no two peoples’ experiences are the same, group can be a comforting reminder that you are not alone. Please inquire for more information!
Artists & Creatives
Artistic identity and sense of self-worth
You vs. what you produce
The Comparison Spiral
Navigating rejection
Performing under pressure
Pressures of the industry
For many creators and artists, art isn’t just something you “do.” It’s who you are and how you identify, which can be both an asset and a hindrance. You are more than what you create. I work with artists on strengthening and embracing all parts of themselves and their various identities, lessening pressures to “be the best,” “remain relevant,” and, “create a masterpiece.”
